Austin Collum, M.A., CCC-SLP

Austin Collum, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist specializing in voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders at The Center for Voice Care and Swallowing Disorders at The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates. He received specialized training in the instrumental evaluation and treatment of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders at prestigious institutions including Wake Forest Baptist Voice and Swallowing Center, The University of Southern California Voice Center, and Lakeshore Professional Voice Center, Detroit, Michigan. 

Throughout his training, Austin has cared for professional voices across the United States, working with voiceover artists, professional and collegiate singers, actors, and varying musicians. He received specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of the aging voice as well as laryngeal dystonias. Austin’s musical background and vocal training involve both classical and musical theatre. Austin has presented research at both the state and national level annually and is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
