Gayle E. Woodson, M.D., Joins The Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Associates Team

The Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Associates officially announced the addition of Gayle E. Woodson, M.D., a fellowship trained otolaryngologist, to their medical team. Dr. Woodson is now accepting patients at the Winter Park and Central Orlando clinics.

“I am extremely pleased and honored to be a part of The Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Associates family,” says Dr. Woodson. “I look forward to the next chapter in my career and personal life working with the the comprehensive, leading edge experts assembled here.”

Dr. Woodson was born and raised in Galveston, TX. She went on to graduate from the Baylor College of Medicine and completed her general surgical residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and decided to return to Baylor to pursue additional fellowship training in otolaryngology. She consequently completed further fellowship tenure in laryngology at the Institute of Laryngology and Otology in London, England.

“She has treated thousands of patients throughout her career, from common, everyday voice issues all the way up to helping pioneer the way otolaryngologists treat the most complex of larynx issues,” says Debbie Bryon, practice administrator for The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates. “We are thrilled and humbled to have her as a part of our team.”

Dr. Woodson is a board certified otolaryngology specialist, and is fellowship trained in treatment of the larynx and advanced voice care. She has served as professor of otolaryngology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, the University of Florida College of Medicine, and at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she also acted as chair of the division of Otolaryngology.

She has served as director and was appointed to the executive committee of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and has also acted as chair of the ENT Devices Panel at the Food and Drug Administration.
