Bari Hoffman, PH.D., CCC-SLP, is being recognized for co-creating a new online graduate speech pathology course designed to teach students and professionals the nuances of their job in the era of COVID-19!
Dr. Hoffman was featured on Spectrum News 13, WESH 2 News, and WFTV 9 to discuss how the 6-week course is allowing students to practice their skills without physically going to class while learning the potential challenges they may face with COVID-19 patients.
“I do feel positive moving forward as a clinician, and I feel a lot of it is due to having this course under my belt because it is one-of-a-kind,” said Erika Daly, one of Dr. Hoffman’s graduate students in the course.
