Alvin T. DeTorres, M.D., Joins Our Practice

The Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Associates announces the addition of Alvin T. DeTorres, M.D., a board-eligible Otolaryngologist-Neurotologist, fellowship-trained and specializing in the medical and surgical care of hearing loss, chronic ear disease, auditory prostheses including cochlear implants, as well as care of patients with tinnitus or dizziness problems.

Dr. DeTorres is a native of Central Florida. He attended Stetson University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Biology, and he received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Medical Center and his fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. DeTorres has authored and presented an array of publications at numerous venues across the country, including the North American Skull Base Society, American Neurotology Society, Triological Society, Head, and Neck Surgery Foundation, and American Cochlear Implant Alliance Symposium.
